- ISiS, YOUR HOST AND SUPPORT SYSTEM -

A European university is a very different place when compared with the American model. To save you time and energy, both the University of Seville and ISiS offer initial orientation and through the semester both remain alert to your needs. Your goals will not be hampered by frustrations due to systems.

Our philosophy is that study abroad prepares us for a greater reality. We are the product of our culture. Our culture is our resource bank for understanding ourselves in the universe at large and our world about us. From birth, we have been absorbing our “points of view”. We are what we have absorbed. The “American way” is not wrong it is just not Spanish, or French or Korean.

Study abroad is far more than just a few classes or going to the beach. In cultural adaptation, we grow. We return home far richer in our ability to appreciate others even when we do not agree with them. We will become more secure in our values, which we have never questioned and we will have a heightened sense of humor. We enjoy ourselves more! Strange people start to seem curious people.
