- This program was probably the best experience of my life. Looking back at it six months later, I miss it and wish I could go back. Without the directors and their knowledge about everything, our experience wouldn\'t have been the same. We saw so much and more importantly learned about it in just a matter of weeks. They really helped us embrace the Spanish and Sevillian culture that we now miss and love. In addition, the program directors were always there for us for anything we needed. Whether it was a late night situation, or early morning problem, they were there to the rescue! The people I met, the material I learned, and the sights I saw can never be taken away from me and I am forever grateful to this program!

- This program is amazing, our onsite program directors were incredible and did a great job making sure we had what we needed. They were always on top of everything and making sure we did everything we had to do as planned in our itinerary. Seville is a great city to be in over the summer. The places to visit like the Cathedral are fantastic. The professors that we had abroad came with us from Miami and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. The housing and excursions were very well planned and we were very comfortable everywhere we went Seville. Our housing was very close to the actions and places to visit. We also had the opportunity in this program to visit Madrid, Cordoba and Granada, which are also such beautiful cities. The experience as a whole was incredible. I feel that I accomplished my goal of infiltrating in the Spanish culture and had a lot of fun at the same time. It was truly a very valuable experience and learned a lot. I will definitely recommend this program to other students.

- One weekend we were exploring nearby Roman ruins, the next we were walking through a breathtaking Arabic mosque. The weeks in between were spent taking classes at the university and integrating ourselves into the gorgeous city that is Sevilla. We were able to form relationships with the families we lived with, students we met, and each other. The ISiS program not only focuses on language learning and improvement, but on real integration into the culture of Seville. The program is small, which allowed our directors to invest personally into each one of us. Somewhere between January and May, in the middle of that \"integration process,\" the culture began to become my own. There are pieces of Spanish culture that will be a part of me forever, and I wouldn\'t trade that for anything.

- When I signed up to live in Seville for a semester, I had no idea the impact it would have on my life. I just thought it was the right thing for a Spanish Ed. major to do.
I\'ve always been apprehensive about using my Spanish in a classroom setting, afraid I wasn\'t good enough to really model the language correctly for my future students.
But yesterday, I found myself in the middle of a job interview for a Spanish high school teacher, not believing how natural it was to speak with the woman who was testing my Spanish knowledge. An hour later, the school called me to offer me the job. I couldn\'t believe it! I say this not to promote my own Spanish skills, but to say that this would have NEVER happened, had I not decided to study in Spain with the ISiS program. I advocate this program to anyone who desires to improve their language skills or simply get a new taste of how to live life. Thankfully for me, it offered me both.

- I don\'t know where to begin. My semester in Sevilla was the best four months of my life! I thank God for all the wonderful friends I made there. I even met a girl from my hometown who I had never met before! When she told me about her study abroad program, I realized even more how great ISiS is. The directors really care for the students as individuals, and not just as numbers.
They were always giving us ideas to get involved in the cultural scene in Sevilla, and encouraging us to use Spanish. Their excitement about the program was contagious. When problems arose, as they do, they dealt with them carefully and quickly.
They always picked out delicious and authentic places for us to eat at during our guided excursions. Through the guided excursions, we saw the history of several eras and cultures unfold before our eyes--including the Alhambra, an Arab palace in Granada, the Roman ruins of the ancient city of Italica, the Arab baths at Ronda, the Gothic Cathedral in Sevilla, the winery in Jerez de la Frontera, and much more.
Andalucia is the richest region of Spain in terms of natural, cultural, and architectural beauty. I loved traveling through it.
But the best part of my semester in Spain was not traveling, but staying right in Sevilla. I could never get tired of that city.
Holy Week, or Semana Santa, was an incredibly rich experience. I loved the smell of incense, the sound of distant drums, the noise of dense crowds, the sight of solemn processions, the tiredness after staying out past the sunrise with friends to watch the most famous processions, and the taste of torrijos--a traditional dessert kind of like French toast but much stickier and yummier. Amazingly, the directors of ISiS had the right connections for us to watch several of the processions from a balcony right above seats that cost 100 euros each.
Another great experience was Feria de Abril, which is basically a week long excuse to party, drink manzanilla (a white wine with Sprite), dance Sevillanas (a high-spirited dance native to Sevilla), ride carriages through town, spend time with family and friends, and--if you are female--dress up in trajes gitanias, which are the only traditional dresses in the world that change with the fashion. One of the directors let me borrow a beautiful red traje for the week, the Baptist church gave free Sevillana lessons, my intercambio (conversation partner) offered to show me around, and some friends invited me to their private tents to dance the nights away. (The directors also invited the whole group to one of the private tents.) At the end of the week, after I just couldn\'t party anymore, my intercambio Ana took me and some friends to climb a mountain an hour outside of Sevilla. Sounds like the perfect end to a perfect week, no?
I could go on (and on), but you really just have to go yourself. They say, \"Sevilla te ama,\" and it\'s true. =).

- If you want to learn Spanish, ISiS is a great program. The directors always pushed us to integrate into the Spanish culture... and for that I am grateful. Our group was small so that they could take care of us. They were always available and willing to help with any kind of problem. But if you don\'t seriously want to learn Spanish, this is not the program for you.
